A 90’s coming of age comedy directed by Allan Moyle. Despite flopping the box-office during its release, the film went on to become a cult hit with the audience. The film starred a cast of young talent, some of which, who later on starred in bigger projects that established their status as actors.
One of the great coming of age films of the 90’s. “Empire Records” is classic fun and chaos set in a local record store. This film had so many likable characters, quotable quotes, and a killer soundtrack. The casting is great and spot on, and was a launch point for some of its young cast – Anthony LaPaglia, Rory Cochrane, Robin Tunney, Liv Tyler, and Renee Zellweger.
This was just classic for me, and one of those films I can watch over and over. So many fun memories with this film. It never gets old.
