A John Hughes classic features Mathew Broderick as Ferris Bueller, Alan Ruck as Cameron Frye and Mia Sara as Samon. The movie is a story of a high school senior who is larger then life who doesn’t take life too seriously. Ferris Bueller fakes an illness to have the day off of school and he takes advange of the day. The three main characters travel to Chicago and see the city all while trying to avoid being caught by Ferris’ family and high school principal Edward Rooney.
This film is great fun and is also a coming of age story for the three main characters especially Cameron Frye’s character. The movie has one memorable catch phrase “Life moves pretty fast if you don’t stop and look around once an awhile you could miss it.” The movie also feature a small part played by an unknown actor (at the time) Charlie Sheen.
The film has a great soundtrack and has several interesting a shots one particular shot is the scene in the musuem then Cameron stares at a famous painting and the camera zooming closer and closer into the painting.
I would definetly recommend seeing this movie over and over. I’ve seen this film several times and each time it gets better.
