“You got a nasty reputation… and I like it”

A private eye is hired for investigation on a cheating husband only to find him dead. He soon dives into a world of corruption and lies centered around the city’s water plant.

Another classic directed by Roman Polanski. It’s a great story to get lost in and the actors and actresses really play it like so. It’s certainly a memorable film dialougue and star-wise, but the pacing is a bit on the slow side, making it hard for some people to watch, but other than that and a few other small mistakes it makes a great dectective story that leaves you satisfied watching despite a tragic end. Great music, similar to those of 40s/50s detective movies (this one is from the 70s).

Definately worth watching.
