“You’re tearing me apart, Lisa!”

Tommy Wisseau’s “The Room”, apparently being concidered as part of the “dark comedy” genre and being concidered a cult-hit, is about a successful businessman and the people around him. He and his soon-to-be family are living a great life… or so he thinks. His girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend, his somewhat of a son is doing drugs, and his soon-to-be mother-in-law has developed brest cancer. Things start to change in horrendous ways without his knowing. And when he finds out…. the reaction is not good…

This movie is possibly one of the worst in history but yet being so is what makes it amusing. The dialouge, the acting, the story, the music…. all of it terrible… it’s pretty much a bad porno without the sex. The dialouge makes no sense at times. The acting is terrible, especially when Director/Producer/Writer/Actor Tommy Wiseau stumbles into the room. Most people, like I’ve already said, act as though they are in a bad porno while others whine throughout the movie and others, you swear are probably high when they walked onto the set that morning. The story is just slow, depressing, and easily loses track with completely random subplots mixed in with heavy repetition. This film is extremely laughable for what seriousness it tries to pull off…. there’s a reason why it’s a “Dark Comedy”.
