Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World  (112 min)

This movie blew my expectations as it blew my mind. With mind blowing special effects intertwined terrifically with clever humor it all just works together very smoothly. Michael Cera plays great as a nerdy 22 year-old guy who plays the bass in his band Sex-Bob-Omb. He finds a girl who he instantly falls for (love at first sight), but there is a catch. If he wants to continue dating her he must battle and defeat her 7 evil ex-boyfriends. The battle scenes that come are creative, bright, vibrant, and strangely intense as they are presented in a video game-comic sort of way. They are pretty awesome just like this movie. “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” is rated PG-13 for stylized violence, sexual content, language and drug references.
