Zach Galifianakis stars in this comedy, which is one of the funniest of 2007 (Netflix says it came out in 2007, so that’s what I’ll stick with) (which is saying something since many good movies, including Superbad, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Juno and Knocked Up, came out in 2007’s comedy season). The film is extremely funny because it centers around the truth of overworked society and yet it completely satirizes it with the seriousness of Anne Frank at Oktoberfest.

George Washington Winsterhammerman (Galifianakis) works as a Visioneer at a company that seems to not say what it does, but has frequent problems with employees exploding. The doctors are telling the people to attempt to not have dreams to stop the exploding from happening. Happiness is a luxury, and sex is a myth. Life sucks in the possible future. The hilarious film by Jared Drake seems to be the rocket that is to start the career of a possible power player in Hollywood comedy.

Best Aspects: Acting, writing, directing, plot and hilarious seriousness from all of the characters. The events are also quite hysterical.

Bottom Line: A. Very funny film that I would recommend to almost everyone. It is available for Instant View on Netflix.
