Long-time best friends, Jason Fryman (Adam Scott) and Julie Keller (Jennifer Westfeldt) have decided to have a baby together with no romantic strings attached. The whole plan is to skip the whole finding Mr. or Mrs. Right, get married, have a baby, then live difficult lives together while raising kids like their friends. Having a baby and dating other people worked until they find that one of the two until begins to think twice about their platonic relationship. Will they end up of together as a family? Will they just remain friends and stick to the plan?
So, after knowing that Kristin Wiig had a part in writing this movie and some of the cast from Bridesmaid was in it, I had to see it. I was expecting laugh-out-loud comedy relating to real life situations regarding balancing relationships and a family. Unfortunately, that was not the case. This film had so much on going moments of the characters talking gibberish like they each forgot their lines and were poorly improvising. That’s pretty much all there is to say about this film because the gibberish was all that was going on so it made the plot and climax non-existent. All in all, I will not see this film again.
