The Unborn is a story written and directed by David S. Goyer about a teenage girl who is starting to be haunted by a ghost child. What started out as just a dream Casey (Odette Yustman) soon finds out that this child she keeps seeing means business. While babysitting her neighbors kids she heard someone talking on the baby monitor. She found Matty (Atticus Shaffer) holding a mirror over the baby Casey goes in asking him what he is doing, Matty turns and bash Casey in the head with the mirror. Later on she learns from her friend that if a baby see its reflection early it will result in a early death. Which turned out to be true.
Casey starts to notice that her eyes starts to go crazy. The color of her pupil was starting to turn blue, after going to the eye doctor said that this condition occurs with twins. Confused on how that can be since Casey claims to be a only child she went to her dad about her unborn sibling. Her Dad told the story of how her brother died in the womb, the cord got wrapped around his neck. So now Casey believes that she is being haunted by the ghost of her unborn brother who is trying to find a way back into the world.
With a few WTF moments this movie was just another horror movie that the scariest parts where shown during the previews. The story seemed to lag on some parts, and the first 20 minutes involved Casey walking around in her underwear. The acting in the movie was the best. The crying, evening when their supposed to act scared was just almost like they were forcing themselves to act.
I was for some reason wanting to see this flick. But instead i should of just got another movie instead. Next time ill listen to the workers at Blockbuster. This movie gets a one out of five.
The above author's byline must be attached to the work if being distributed.

I haven’t seen this movie, but your review pretty much told me what I was expecting to hear. That’s too bad though, I was hoping for a horror movie that wasn’t horrible. Next time you should toss in a couple more aspects of the film, like the directing, cinematography, music, ect. A good amount of movie buffs pay a lot of attention to those pieces. Good job and welcome to the site!
