This movie is rated PG-13, and has the same people who voice the television show. This movie is an hour and 45 minutes long, which I have to say was much too long.
The plot of the movie is that the Simpsons that Homer Simpson once again screw things up in a destructive manner and almost wipes Sprigfield off of the map, the invisible map.
If you like the Simpsons and have watched all sixteen years of it, then this movie is for you. The humor is the same as the television show, and the character of the pig is the most interesting character in the movie. Green Day and Tom Hanks make special voice apperances, but I kind of hoped that there would be more celebrity voices, since this is the movie. It had all of the same stories as the show, homer screws up, marge gets mad, then she forgives him.
I thought that this movie was a tad long, and not as funny as it could have been. If you want to see a long version of a Simpsons Episode then go see this movie. If you want to hear Maggie’s like 5th word, go see this movie. If you want to see Lisa fall in love with with another nerd, go see this movie.
If you are into cartoon nudity, go see this movie. Otherwise, forget it, wait for the three episodes to come out on TV. Not worth the time.
The above author's byline must be attached to the work if being distributed.

I thought seeing the show on the big screen was an interesting expreience, sort of similar to the South Park movie. There are definite parts where the plot slags, reminiscent of the past few seasons of episodes, but the satirical wit that we all love to see from The Simpsons is very much there. “Yes! I finally found someone the government is looking for!” I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars.

This was the best animated film of the year, better than Ratatouille, Surf’s Up, and Persepolis.
