Spider-Man: Homecoming Review

As a potluck of intellectual originality, Spider-Man:  Homecoming gives you a lot to “chew on”.  From Captain America’s hilarious cameos, to the introduction of an old character as new that gives you that “ah ha” moment. The film captures the essence of naive teenage Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man, enticing you to fall in love with the character all over again.  It finishes with a bang and has you craving for more, anxiously awaiting the next installment.

The Mummy Review

So, as you enter the theater, sliding into the comfortable new leather recliner movie seats (if you have not experienced this, it is certainly a must), eating your large popcorn with extra butter and nice cold drink to watch The Mummy, keep this in mind: action and special effects first, plot and substance last. Logan Review 2017

From the opening scene, I knew that this was not the Wolverine of years past, but a brand-new era. The body count was high and the savagery was endless. Body parts and blood splatter were plentiful. As the metal band, The Drowning Pool, so poignantly stated in their 2001 metal anthem, “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor”.
