Cast: Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez

Director: James Cameron

Breakdown: I went to the midnight premiere 4 hours ago, and can say that it is simply and full-heartedly the greatest movie this year. James Cameron scores his greatest masterpiece with this, the best special effects and action movie ever conceived.

Plot: In the 22nd century, people are sent for their scientific minds to Pandora, a planet that holds a native race called the Na’vi. Jake Sully, a paraplegic marine, is sent to infiltrate the home of the Na’vi, and get information on the mining ability of their land. Sully then realizes that the Buddhistesque teachings and feelings of the Na’vi along with the people’s unity are the thing he wants most in the world.

Best Aspects: Everything. This movie has no flaws.

Bottom Line: Buy the DVD, but memorabilia, buy posters, buy the collectors edition, and buy a copy for your neighbors. This movie on DVD, out of any, would be the reason to buy a Blu-ray player, or an HDDVD player. Best movie of the year.
