This movie is rated R sor nudity, sexual situations, drug use and violence. It is an hour and forty two minutes long. It stars Harry Connick Jr, and Ashley Judd.
This movie is a paranoid delusion mixed with glimpses of horror and wife beating. It is about a woman named Agnes (Judd) and a man named Peter (Michael Shannon) who meet and fall in love. Things get a little twisted when we learn that Peter has some dark secrets and had gone AWOL from the Army. Agnes is willing to learn and help Peter, but mostly that is because she is a broken woman who lost so much when she was younger. Harry Connick Jr. plays her abusive ex-husband who just got out of prison. Connick Jr. creates a twisted love triangle and the viewer wonders which man will save Agnes.
This movie had an interesting set because virtually the entire movie takes place in Agnes’s hotel/apartment. There isn’t a lot of action in this movie yet there is some suspense. The viewer winds up wondering what really is the problem.
I actaully have more bad to say than good. This movie was extreemly slow. It was billed as a horror movie but doesn’t even come close. I actually wondered what this movie would be billed as because it wasn’t suspense, or drama, or romance, it pretty much goes straight to the D-movie list. I wondered why an actress like Ashley Judd would be in a horrible movie like this. This movie is all about pain, but it is so obvious from the very beginning what is going on. It is dissappointing and I wish I had never watched it.
I don’t suggest this movie for anyone. It was very bad. I really don’t have much more to say about it than that.

This movie is rated R for nudity, sex, violence, and drug use. It is 1 hour 40 minutes long. It was directed by David Arquette and stars several unknowns and a few lightly knowns. Of course if you like Jay and Silent Bob, Jay is in this movie, he just isn’t Jay.
This movie is about a bunch of druggies going to the woods for a music festival titled as a hippie organization. There is a killer in them there wood though. It holds true that once you start having fun by being high or getting your groove on you will die. The one and only cop in the town tries to warn everyone that there is a killer on the loose, but the mayor doesn’t believe him, until he is attacked by a man in a Ronald Regan mask.
This movie is the typical teenage slasher flick. It has lots of blood, death and the thing that makes every teenage slasher movie tick, nudity, lots and lots of nudity. Both female and male nudity, which is a change, although the male nudity is short lived. It is remnescent of the slasher flicks of the seventies, but better because it is comedic as well. This movie makes some fun of itself, and doesn’t seem to take itself too seriously, I don’t think it wants to be a series with Tripper 1-4, Regan takes New York.
The one thing I didn’t like about this movie, besides that it was more funny than scary was the use of unnessary characters. At least one character was useless and didn’t seem to have a point, he played a girls boyfriend, and ends up getting killed. Don’t worry that’s not a spoiler, pretty much everyone gets killed. Also there were these bad guy townies and it didn’t make much sense why they were written into the script.
If you like scary movies don’t rent this one. If you like a little tna rent this it has a bunch. If you just want to see Ronald Regan kill a bunch of people, then you should totally rent this movie!

This movie stars Diane Lane and Colin Hanks. It is an hour and forty-one minutes long. It is rated R for violent scenes and images.
This movie is about an FBI unit that searches for and solves cyber crimes, which is anything involving the internet and computers. Diane Lane plays Jennifer Marsh and Colin Hanks is her “partner” or at least he plays the guys she has worked the longest with. Most of their cases involve pedophiles and theft of funds and information, until the day they get a note about a website called killwithme.com. This website lets the viewers kill the victim, the more viewers the faster the victim goes, and it all starts with a kitten. Of course, it always involves an animal. Anyway, Jennifer Marsh gets dragged in, and the person behind the website starts coming after her, even setting up a camera outside of her house. In the end some die and some live, but if I tell you what happens I would be giving away too much.
The plot behind this movie was a pretty good one. In truth if a website like this popped up today it probably would get a lot of hits. People would be curious if it was real or not and it would probably get a lot of viewers. The idea of killing online, however, is not a new one. There have been a few before it, like Fear.com, which was more about revenge than murder. This movie took a more realistic turn, and one has to wonder, is there a website out there like this? The acting in the movie was pretty good as well, although there were times when I felt that Diane Lane’s character fell a little flat. I could have used a little more emotion, especially since her little girl was at one point possibly put in harms way.
Another problem I had was with the idea that Diane Lane was a seasoned FBI agent. She does a lot of things in the movie, especially towards the end, that makes you wonder how long she has been working at cyber crimes, or at the FBI. A lot of the mistakes she makes seems so obvious, even joe average wouldn’t make those mistakes. Also the reason for one of the murders seemed a little far fetched. It was actually the murder of a fellow FBI agent that made me question, why would the killer take that chance? So not all of the movie was believable, but if you don’t know a lot about law enforcement, you might just let some of the problems I had slide.
If you want a good guy/bad guy movie, go see this. It has some gore, but it isn’t just gore for the sake of gore. It all has a point. It is better than a lot of other movies that were out there, so if you want something that doesn’t suck to watch, go see this.

This movie stars Jamie Foxx, Tom Cruise and has a small part for Jada Pinket-Smith. It is 2 hours long and is rated R.
This movie is about a cab driver, played by Foxx, who drives the mean streets of LA picking people up and dropping them off where they need to go. He loves to play games with them, trying to get them where they want in the shortest amount of time, and he dreams big of owning a luxury limo company. On night he picks up Tom Cruises character, Vincent, and it turns out to be one of the biggest mistakes that he makes. Foxx is asked to drive Crusie around all night for the sum total of $700, which might not be bad for a nights work.
The plot turns out to be an interesting one. Vincent is a hired killer who has come to the city to kill some of his targets, and needs a driver, which is where Foxx (or the characters name is Max) comes in. He forces Max todrive him from one murder site to the next. All the while the FBI and Drug Force are on his tail, trying to find the killer and stop the crimes. The plot could have been a little more developed, as we have no idea what kind of for-hire killer Vincent is. We have noidea where he came from or if he works by himself or for some sort of company.
My other problem was why would a hired killer choose to go everywhere in a Taxi? I mean isn’t the idea to keep your identity a secret? I could believe this if the story took place in New York, but I had a hard time suspending my belief to believe that the story took place in Los Angeles. Also Tom Cruise was not a very belivable killer. I can believe him to be a lot of things, a leading romantic guy (Jerry McGuire), a fighter pilot (Top Gun), and even a action hero (Mission Impossible), but as a hired killer, nah.
If you want a good movie about a hit man, I don’t suggest this one. If you want something fun go see HITMAN, if you want something funny go see The Matador, and if you want something stupid either see this, or The Long Kiss Goodnight

This movie stars Edward Burns and Shannyn Sossamon. It is rated PG-13, and is an hous and twenty-seven minutes long. It is based on both a book and a Japanese film of the same name which was out in 2004.
This movie is about a group of friends who get mysterious messages on their cell phones. The messages turn out to be themselves calling just before their own deaths. One girl, the main character Beth, played by Shannyn Sossamon, watches as each of her friends call and then die in front of her. A police detective, played by Edward Burns, has a personal stake in finding the person or thing responsible for these murders, and concerns himself with Beth and helping her. What they find is a supernatural killer, who is seeking vengance for her own death.
This movie was very dissappointing. I was lead to believe, by the previews on the television, that this movie was going to be full of frightening scenes and original deaths. Instead it copied many other scenes and was very predictable. At the end I was bummed that I wasted my time seeing it, and I was bummed that I bought the movie popcorn and soda. The movie tries too hard to be frightening, and instead becomes funny. It relies too much on the what it behind the door trick, and does it way too much in this movie.
Although this movie was not very goo, there was one part in it that creeped me out a litte. I won’t give it away, but it involves computer animation and a baby with a cell phone. That was a great scene, which is sad because it didn’t involve a real character. The plot was a little stagnent and there were scenes in which I wondered why they even put them in. Most of the scenes that were unneeded were scenes involving Beth’s childhood.
If you want a scary movie, don’t see this movie, but if you want a laugh go for it. If you want something scary try the Asian version, it is way scarier.

This movie stars Ellen Paige, Michael Cera, Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner. It is rated PG-13 for sexual situation and language, and is an hour and 31 minutes long.
This movie is about a sixteen year old girl who gets pregnant after her first time of having sex. She tells her family and decides to find a couple to adopt her baby, because she knows she is not ready to raise a kid being a kid herself.
This movie was really funny, which was surprising because the topic was so very serious, teenage pregnancy. It could have been a dark movie but at just about every turn there were sarcastic quips and humerous remarks. The father even says to his daughter when she comes home upset, “What’s a matter bloated, larger version of June-bug?” This is what I mean by humerous remarks. They go throughout the movie.
I can’t say I have a lot of negative comments about this movie. It was fun, and the characters were all great and well developed. The only thing I felt needed work was towards the end of the movie, we strated to focus a little too much on the feelings of all of the characters, instead of staying with out main character, Juno. I felt that some of the end of the movie went a little off track and could have been reined in a little and still gotten the point across.
If you are looking for a smart comedy that is great fun and a little serious, go see this movie. It reminded me a little of a movie I saw earlier titled Wristcutters: a love story. If you like comedies that don’t rely on crude humor and fart jokes, this is the movie for you.

This movie stars Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, and Josh Brolin. It is rated R for a little bit of everything, violence, nudity, language and drugs. It was 2hours and 37minutes.
This movie was about Frank Lucus a black mob boss who ran a lot of the heroin trade in New Jersey in the 60’s and 70’s. This movie is based on a true story. Frank Lucus (played by Denzel Washington) was the driver of a man who not only played mobster but also was a champion of the people, giving them turkeys on thanksgiving and christmas. He dies and Frank decides to take over the job, although not all see him as being suited for it. Most of the other mobsters and police and even FBI are surprised that he is the leader because he is a black man, and they spent a lot of the movie searching for the man he was working for. In the end Russell Crowe’s Character, Richie, an honest cop, tracks him down and crushes him.
This movie was interesting, however it reminded me of another movie about a guy who delt drugs, that movie was Blow. This movie seemed to me to be a carbon copy of that movie, except the main character was black, and the main character didn’t do the drugs he sold, unlike Johnny Depp who did a lot of the drugs he sold in the movie.
The movie was a little long, and I felt that some of the scenes could have been left out, or maybe not the scenes but maybe some snippets of the scenes. The violence was portrayed well, not being too gorey or startling. There was a lot of nudity in the movie, but none of it involved sex, and it seemed to have a place in the film. This was not a very sexual movie and honestly I felt that pretty much all of the scenes were there for a reason, and although it was a little long, every scene seemed to be thought out and there to push the story along.
I think if you are interested in gangsters of the past and the police force back then (3/4 ths of which was corrupt), go watch this movie. If you are looking for something full of action and violence, like a lot of mobster movies, this is not the movie you are looking for.

Best in show stars a fun cast of characters including, Parker Posey, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, and Catherine O’hara. It is rated PG-13 for sexual situations and language. It is an hour and a half long and is by Christopher Guest, of Waiting for Guffman fame.
If you like sarcastic, quiet comedy, this is the movie for you. It is about a group of people who are in the show dog circuit. It shows the different personalities of the people, and the personalities they project onto their dogs. The people go though the trials of getting to the big dog show, being in the big show, and getting the coveted BEST IN SHOW award and giant cup. If you ever watched the reality television show “showdog moms and dads” this is like that except much more silly and playful.
The characters in this movie were all quite hilarious. Parker Poseys character and her husband both freak out whn they realize that they left their dog’e toy at the hotel. Parker Posey runs back to search for it and starts yelling at everyone when she can’t find it. It’s a dog toy and she is having an atomic freakout! One of the characters that constantly made me laugh was the character played by Catherine O’Hara. Her and her husband, played by Eugene Levy, are constantly running into people that she has had wild sex with. Eugene’s character is shocked and jealous of all of the men that come up to his wife, but she keeps reassuring him that he is the only one for her.
My one problem with this movie is that the humor at times was so very quiet, that I am sure I missed some of the jokes and some of the comedy. I am pretty sure that I missed a bunch of the jokes becuase I didn’t get it either.
Honestly, if you get the chance to rent the movie, see it. Especially if you know people who are soo into their pets that they sing songs about their pets! Watch out though, you might excite a dog.

| Nacho Libre was rated PG for crude humor and some violence (wrestling). It stars Jack Black and is 92 minutes long.
This movie is about a boy who grows up in an orphanage and becomes a monk because he loves god. His one dream is to wrestle, and he can’t seem to get that dream out of his head. As an adult he works at the monastary as the cook and meets the woman of his dreams, a nun, who of course he can’t have. This is for two reasons, one is he is a monk and the second is that she is a nun. Ignacio (Jack Black’s Monk) decides that he should be a wrestler so he can buy fresh food for the orphanage. He wrestles under the name Nacho and on the way he loses sight of why he is doing it, buying himself expensive shoes and clothes instead of things for the orphanage. The movie goes along the plot of conscience from there.
This movie is supposed to be a comedy but I did not find it very funny. This movie could have been a clever little movie but it takes itself too seriously. Who really thinks the nun and the monk will end up together? It would be a conflict of interest int he movie since it is all about the orphans. The nun was introduced for absolutly no reason. There were times when it could have been funny, especially with the character that continually dogs Nacho at the monastary. Instead this movie relies on Jack Black eyebrows and fart noises.
I guess I am not a big fan of Jack Black, since the only movies I marginally liked were Shallow Hal and School of Rock. Most of his movies seem to rely on crude humor (anyone see the movie Envy). This movie was a flop, just like Jack Black’s character Ignacio, he flopped around all over the wrestling ring.
Take my advice, skip this movie. If you want a comedy try a Mel Brooks movie. |

| Movie Review - Hitman |
| This movie is based on a video game of the same name, and of which I know nothing about, so forgive me for my stupidity. It stars Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott and Olga Kurlenko. It was directed by Xavier Gnes and is rated R mostly for violence. It ia about 2 hours long.
This movie is about a man who was raised from childhood to be a trained killer. He was assigned a number and there was a bar-code tattooed on the back of his head, just like all of the other little boys. He gets his directions through a computer and he follows them to the T. He is the best they have and his name is only a number. He is sent to kill the Russian president, and from there things go all crazy. He is attacked, set up and falls for a girl he can never be with, it is the nature of things.
This movie was very well done for a movie based on a video game, of course I might just be partial to video game movies since I also liked Resident Evil, House of the Dead, Lara Croft, and Doom. The action was fast and exciting and there were very good scenes of violence where the blood looked less grotesque and more creative. The fact that Timothy Olyphant (plays the main hitman) can kill sixteen men was impressive, although probably not realistic, was fun and let me enjoy the action. I liked that the action was not always based in reality and that I could enjoy it like a video game.
The comedic lines delivered by both Timothy and Olga’s character Nika was a good change of pace and helped keep the movie from getting too dark or too based on the action. This helped keep the mood light and made the movie more fun for me. The one main problem I did have was that there was not a lot of back story. I wanted to know where the hitman school was based and whose country paid for it, or even if it was a collaborative effort between many countries. The fact that we got little information about it made me wonder more where these men came from, and what was their point. Did they kill as government assignees or did they kill when paid by the highest bidder?
Of course the questions I had may just be the set-up for the next Hitman movie, but I guess we will have to see, unless the information is in the video game. If you like action movies go see this, and pretty much anyone over the age of 10 can see this one, wait, I forgot, there is some female nudity so it is up to you, the viewer. |

| Movie Review: The Descent |
| This movie is a quiet horror movie, with a lot of blood. It stars Shauna McDonald, Natalie Mendoza and several other female characters. It is rated R, unless you watch the Unrated DVD. This movie is rated R for violence, gore and intense scenes. It is an hour and 39 minutes.
This movie is set in the wilderness and in a cave. It is about a group of women who set out to have adventure after adventure after adventure. After the first scenes of rafting we find the main character, played by Shauna McDonald, loses her husband and her child in a horrific accident. She is led to a new adventure by her friends, when they all decide to go splunking. The caves they enter are deep and dark, as they should be, and the scenes are frighteningly intense in their suspense. The women meet with some unexpected monsters and some of them lose their lives to the monsters the see, and some of them lose their lives to unseen inner monsters.
This movie was very good at building up a good feeling of suspense. I liked the fact that they were all stuck in this cave, with no way out and only monsters to face, monsters who want to kill them for no other reason than survival. It was a dark movie, and some of the scenes were done so well even I felt a little claustrophobia. I don’t like dark spaces, and this movie kept me in them.
The one problem I had with this movie was the ending, it didn’t lead to where it promised, and I was a little dissapointed with where it left off. Understandinly it is nice to get a shock, especially in a horror movie, but at the end there should be some relief, which I didn’t felt this movie had. There was no nice happy ending, nor were there answers to the many questions the movie brought up. Like where did the monsters come from? That was kind of a biggie, and ideas were placed through the movie, but no conclusions were met.
All in all, I wasn’t sure if I liked this movie a lot, or possibly just a little bit. The ending left me unsatisfied, but the suspense was really good. I say you be the judge. See it, tell me if you like or don’t like it. |

This movie stars Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem. It is rated R mostly for violence, and is about 2 hours and 13 minutes long. I was directed by the Cohen brothers, and seems like it was a good fit for them, and a different thin than what they usually do. If you are familiar with their movies you know what I am talking about, it not watch Fargo or Oh, Brother Where Art Thou?.
This movie is about a guy named Llewelen, played by Josh Brolin, who stumbles upon a crime scene and finds one guy and one dog alive. He decides that he doesn’t really want to get involved and takes the money and runs, well kind of. He is chased by the baddest (in a good way) bad guy I have yet to see, named Anton Sugar, played by Javier Bardem. Tommy Lee Jones is the small town cop just trying to figure it all out, and save the good guy. In the end no one really wins, there is blood, death, and promises kept.
I thought this movie was very inventive, especially since there are a lot of movie goers and such that want their stories wrapped up in a nice little package. This movie will not deliver that, instead it gives you a thoughtful conversation afterwards. I liked the drama, and the characters were quite well played out. I have not seem very many “human” bad guys who behaved or were as evil and psycopathic as Anton Sugar. He was a delightful and scary character to watch. Llewelyn was a guy who wanted to give his wife the best, and yet he wasn’t a guy who was selfish, or bad, he just didn’t make the right decision. You pretty much love all of the characters, even though you really want to hate some of them.
My one real problem with this movie was that at times it was a little slow, and I wasn’t really sure where it was going. There was a scene with Woody Harrelson and it left me a little confused as to what the point of his character was. I would have liked a little more description in some areas about what the whole situation was, but then again it might have taken away from the drama and the suspense that was being built from the beginning of the movie until the end.
All in All I liked this movie. In the end you walk away wanting to discuss it further with someone, anyone, and for a movie I feel like this is a good change of speed, especially from the mindless movies that just want to provoke feeling. I think if you are interested in a real drama with a real story go see this movie, just don’t expect things to end like you want them to. Plus it might bring you closer to the father!

This movie doesn’t come out for a couple more days, but I was able to get into a lovely preview. It stars Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, and Kevin Spacey. It is rated PG and is about one hour and fifty-six minutes long.
This movie is about the lesser known Clause, Fred, Nick’s Brother. Fred is the older brother of Nick, and finds that he ends up living in the shawdow of the boy who eventually becomes Santa Clause. Fred hates Christmas and everything it stands for, mostly because it stands for the fact that his brother is considered the stand-up generous guy, whereas he is considered the black sheep. Santa ends up in a little bit of trouble because Kevin Spacey’s character is there to preform a quality assurance test. Kevin Spacey wants Santa to fail, and he wants the north pole to close down. Of course Christmas isn’t the only thing Kevin wants to close down, he wants to give the Easter Bunny his walking papers. Oh No, Not the Easter Bunny!
This movie had some very funny moments. Especially in the beginning when Fred Clause is chased through Chicago by . . . well you really should go see the movie. Vince Vaughn plays Fred Clause as a character that you can’t quite hate, but you can’t quite love him at first either. Kevin Spacey’s Character is played with such evil zeal it reminded me of the character he played in usual suspects, you aren’t quite sure why he is doing what he does, but you know he is up to no good. There is also one scene in the movie that involves Stephen Baldwin, Frank Stallone and Roger Clinton which was hilarious and you don’t want to miss it.
The one thing that bothered this movie, well one of the main things, was the father of the Clause children. The character seemed to have something to say so many times but he doesn’t say anything. Every time the mother, played by Kathy Bates, puts Fred down the father rolls his eyes and you keep expecting him to say something like “lay off Fred” or anything.
If you like a good sappy comedy go see this. It is a great movie for kids, and adults who want a funny movie without all the farting and sex jokes.

This movie stars Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris. It is rated R and is one hour fifty-four minutes long. It was directed by Ben Affleck in his Debut, and now I think he has a lot to live up to because I thought this movie was quite well done.
This movie is about a young girl named Amanda who goes missing from her home. Her mother is a crack head who wasn’t really taking care of her in the first place. Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan play two private detective who specialize in finding “missing people”. They are contacted by the aunt to help in the search for the girl. Through many twists and turns things don’t go as planned. The search ends with at least one person dead, and a variety of unanswered questions left behind. Casey Afflecks character can’t let the events that happened go and uncovers a secret that no one was meant to find out. In the process he finds a child molester and realizes that he has to make some difficult choices, choices he might now be prepared to make.
I liked this movie because it was well acted and well directed. The script seemed to have been well written, and I found myself really interested in what was going to happen to the characters involved. the action is slow, and that leads this movie to be more of a Drama than a Thriller, and it was surprisingly violent, even though there wasn’t a lot of what people see today when they go to the movies - blood and gore.
The only thing that really bothered me about this movie was the character played by Michelle Monaghan. Her character in the beginning doesn’t want to get involved, then she becomes so passionate that she can’t stop and finds herself totally upset, yet when she learns the truth she doesn’t get angry. I would have though she would have gotten angry because she had been lied to and had been distressed about the outcome of the situation.
This movie was somewhat slow, but that didn’t make it feel like a long movie. It was a pretty good movie and I reccomend it to anyone. You might even walk out of it feeling like I did. Questioning what was the right choice and who was the bad guy?

Movie is Rated R for language and content involving suicide. It stars Patrick Fugit, Shannyn Sossamon and Leslie Bibbb. It is based on a novella titled Knellers Happy Campers by Etgar Keret. It is about one and a half hours long.
I know what you all are thinking how can a movie titled Wristcutters be a romance? A movie about suicide has to be sad and depressing, right? No. This movie is about a boy who kills himself and finds himself in a world of the suicides. People who have killed themselves find themselves waking up in this sort of purgatory of suicidal humans. They all wake up, and they all continue with some sort of life, a little different, and not on this earthly plane. Via the main character, has committed suicide and now works in a pizza joint and hangs out in a bar, at this bar he meets Eugene and they become fast friends. Via finds out his girlfriend from his pre-suicide life has also committed suicide and he feels he needs to find her. So he and Eugene begin a road trip to find her. Along the way they meet Macaw, a young woman who wants to find the people in charge because her being here is a terrible mistake, she says she didn’t commit suicide.
This is a well put together movie with both laughs and charming dialogue and scenes. It wasn’t at all what I thought it would be. Being a movie about suicide and death I went to it thinking it was going to be sad, dreary and full of itself, however that is not what I got. The film was taped to make the after-suicide life look a little pale, a little dreary, yet there was still humor in it. There was as scene in which two young attractive women are sitting in the bar making bets about who “offed” themselves how. It was funny and horrifying as well to think about it, and wonder if it was me would I play the game to entertain myself?
There was a time when the movie was a little slow, however there wasn’t much of that. It helped that this movie was not one of these two and a half hour over-indulgent films, and didn’t take itself too seriously. It was enjoyable and lovely. Not quite a romance but so close that is the category I had to put it in. It is funny, people making fun of others and their suicidal ends, but funny in a good way and not horrible way.
I reccommend that everyone see this movie. I doubt that it will get much attention from the studios, or be advertised much on television, so here it is. Go see it, you won’t regret it!

This is the third in the Resident Evil series of movies. It stars Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter. This movie is rated R, mostly for violence.
As I said this is the third in the series. The first two movies are about the spread of the T-Virus and Alice and her mutation. This movie starts with the knowledge that the world is headed towards extinction. Humanity is on its way out. A band of survivors is on the road looking for any signs of survival, and trying to stay alive themselves. Of course the only way to stay alive is to stay on the road. All the while the Umbrella Corporationb is continuing to experiment with the virus, trying to find a cure, or a way to subdue the undead. Alice is the clue, and the only way humanity will be able to survive.
This movie was not as well developed as the first two in my opinion. There was a lot of action, and a lot of death and zombies, but the story seemed a little stagnent in this chapter of the series. Alice’s storyline was developed too little to give enough information, since she has been travleing on the road by her self, and the last time we saw her she was just being rescued from the Umbrella Corp. There was too little information about the interum, while the last two movies fit so well with each other without such a gigantic lapse in time.
The end of the movie suggested to me that there would be another continuation in the series. Some might be a little surprised in the development in the end, but personally I kind of saw it coming from the very beginning. There is a little more emotion from Alice, so she is not just a superhero mutant with super powers, which was good. Although I love the series this movie was a tad of a disappointment since it relied mostly on action and not enough on character development, plus for a zombie movie there weren’t enough zombies for me.
I recommend this movie if you have seen the first two, although it will stand on its own, there are some things that you might miss if you haven’t seen the first two.
