A Knights Tale, a Mr. E Movie Review

(Run time: 144 min. - Directed by: Brian Helgeland - Starring: Heath Ledger, Rufus Sewell, Shannyn Sossamon, Paul Bettany, Mark Addy, Laura Fraser, Alan Tudyk)

A Knights Tales stars the late great actor, Heath Ledger, in one of his most watchable roles. This perfectly paced, light-hearted, comedic drama has successfully combined jousting knights with a rock n’ roll soundtrack.

When as a child young William, played by Heath Ledger, is forced to go and serve as an assistant to a real knight he never thought he’d have a chance to become one. But, after years of service the aging, and drunken, master suddenly passes away in his sleep. Leaving behind his hungry servants with nothing to do but to pick up the peices and carry on.

A bit rough at first, William quickly learns what he needs to be a successful knight. Even if it’s all made up!

Love he’s forced to chase and friends who will stand by his side at all costs are fostered along with everything else you need to make a great story. I rank this “sleeper” classic as a treasure for all who even half liked its star to take the time to check it out.

So without further a do…A Knights Tale comes as a highly recommended must see movie.
