Up: Pixar’s Instant Classic

Easily one of the best films of 2009, Up captivated many people. This is not a standard-written review, but I just wanted to tell everyone since I remembered I hadn’t done a review, really, on Up, to see it. It is very, very good, and it is tear-jerking in a comedic and funny sense.

Bottom Line: A. Great film. See it. Now!

About J.C. Simpson

I am a high school student who is involved in film at my school in my broadcasting/video production class. Having met up-and-coming film affiliates in my area, I have come to know many great camera techniques, good writing skills and cinematographic specialties. I have taken courses and am in the process of becoming certified to use multiple different editing equipment/software engines and cameras. I am in the process of writing over 10 Screenplays and 3 Books, and look to hopefully enter into the world of cinema as a editor, scorer, cinematographer, writer and director.

  1. I saw Up recently.
It was adorable. I heard soooo many good things about. I was wondering if it really was as great as everyone said it was. I was not disappointed.

the themes of it were fantastic to children and to adults. It was the best Pixar movie I’ve personally seen. I’d even top it over Toy Story, that first five minutes nearly made my decision for me.
