My Sister's Keeper    Genre - Drama.   Rated - PG-13.    Year - 2009.     Running Time - 1 hour and 49 minutes. Director - Nick Cassavetes.     Stars - Cameron Diaz, Jason Patric, Sofia Vassilieva, Abigail Breslin, Evan Ellingson, Thomas Dekker, Heather Wahlquist, Alec Baldwin, and Joan Cusack.                                Story Breakdown - A girl looks to earn medical emancipation from her parents, who have relied on her for years to keep her older, cancer-stricken sister alive.         My Rating - 3 (out of 4)    Review - Powerful tearjerker doesn't always work, but when it does, it's great. Sofia Vassilieva gives a first-rate performance (as the girl with cancer) that makes up for some of the lesser performances (such as Cameron Diaz, who looks uncomfortable in her dramatic role as the mom). The richest moments of the film come in the middle, where a romance occurs between Sofia Vassilieva and Thomas Dekker (who plays a boy with cancer). It becomes more predictable and melodramatic towards the end, but it is still worth a view. Prepare for sadness, though.

    I cried a lot.
It was sad, sweet, a tad predictable, but mostly the emotion was very strong and well played by the actors.
    Very touching.
