Eurotrip Euro Trip, a Mr. E Movie Review (Run time: 93 min. - Directed by: Jeff Schaffer - Starring: Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg, Travis Wester) The hilarious, fun, and ultimately entertaining movie Euro Trip will have you laughing, singing, and maybe even planning a trip! This 2004 comedy starring Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Travis Wester is a pleasantly surprising movie watching experience that is an above par "road trip" adventure. After the graduation ceremony, Scott Thomas, played by Scott Mechlowicz, is dumped by his girlfriend Fiona right in front of everybody. Later that night, at a party, he finds out Fiona's been cheating on him with the leader singer of a local band, a cameo played by Matt Damon. He finds out when the band performs the song "Scotty Doesn't Know" which I got to say is one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard in a movie! Scotty proceeds to gets drunk and head home were he replies to an email that he thinks is from a male pen pal from Germany but ends up being from a very hot female pen pal from Germany! When Scotty finds out him and his buddy Cooper, played by Jacob Pitts, head to Europe to reclaim Scotty's hottie. Joining the guys in Europe are the worst twins ever Jenny and Jamie, played by Michelle Trachtenberg and Travis Wester. Then, let the adventure's begin...crazy English soccer fans to guy-filled nude beaches and green fairy's to the Vatican! Euro Trip is hilarious, fun, and ultimately entertaining! Scott Mechlowicz was a perfect comedic lead while Jacob Pitts played the perfect, wise ass compliment to Scott’s role. Michelle Trachtenberg is gorgeous and great as girl with all guy friends. Travis Wester played the geeky twin of Michelle right on point. Director Jeff Schaffer did a great job telling this story and pacing it perfectly. Everyone was simply like I said hilarious, funny, and ultimately entertaining! I recommend this movie to the ever popular "Under-30-at-heart" crowd. I personally own this movie on DVD and think after you see it you will probably too! Digg!
