Never Surrender, a Mr. E Movie Review

Never Surrender

Never Surrender

(Run time: 87 min. – Directed by: Hector Echavarria – Starring: Hector Echavarria, Patrick Kilpatrick, Sofia Grand)The fight fantasy movie Never Surrender stars the best of the best when it comes to┬áMMA fighting. Unfortunately as far as a movie goes it’s a case of poor directing of under-experienced actors. From the horribly choreographed fight scenes to the almost dubbed sounding dialogue this movie was truly made for DVD.

As painful as it is here come the plot. A successful MMA champion gets propositioned to fight in an underground fight tournament for the chance to win tax-free money and his opponents girl for the night! A sadistic Russian mobster has put together his two loves, fighting and hookers. Once the champ is hooked in he finds out the truth about the injustices happening to the women and decides to end the Russians reign.

All the featured MMA fighters did as good of a job as they could and I hope to see them in bigger budget films.

The ending was horrible, but then again so was the beginning! The middle was so-so. I’m glad I rented it from the Red Box for only a $1! The only true injustice would be if I returned it after 9 p.m. and had to pay another dollar!

It wasn’t all bad there where some good parts. I thought that the sex and nudity made it as bearable as a 2 a.m. Skin-a-max flick?
