So I’ve been procrastinating on writing this review, not because I was searching for just the right words to say, but because I’m thinking, what can I say about this movie that hasn’t already been thought. Personally I thought this movie is The Revenge of the Nerds meets The Girl next Door. Can’t you see the obvious parallels? Enough about my ideas, lets get to the plot.

Don’t bother with this one

So imagine Revenge of the Nerds, American Pie, The Girl Next Door and Ferris Bueller’s Day off, and you have the plot already recognized. Basically it’s a coming of age film, where the until now (ignored nerd) Dennis Coverman (Paul Rust) pronounces his love to the “it girl “ of the school-Beth Cooper (Hayden Pannettiere). He’s in for the unexpected (it’s like déjà vu for the viewer) as he sees a Beth Cooper far removed from his fantasies.

I don’t have much positive to say about this movie, in fact I would say skip it. The 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s day Off is better than all the flicks I mentioned afore in connection with this one.
